1986 K5 Oil Sending Unit

I've had my 700R4 Trans rebuilt, all the guages were working fine before I took it into the shop, now the oil sending unit is maxed out, I dont have a clue where it is located on the engine or how to replace or fix the problem (Engine 350 5.7L)...Please Help.

the oil pressure sending unit is next to the distributor. It is a long cylinder with a electrial conector on one side and a brass fitting on the other going into the block.Check first maby it was just unpluged.
