I think the next oportunity I get to work on it I will;

Move the fuel tank on top of the frame rails behind the cab.
Craft up a diy shackle flip.
Take it wheeling:D

Looks good. How soon you going to tube it out? I did the same thing with my cucv, took the bed off and moved the front axle up a foot or so. Still havent tubed out the rear tho, I hate how it looks. Once I get my turbo on Im going to tube it out. I look forward to see what you do.

Not sure on the tube yet, I have a bender but no dies yet. Also I'm gonna bring the rear in about a foot and move the front out about 4" so I may wait on the tube until the wheelbase is set.

You mean spending all my $$ quickly:crazy:Actually some good parts just happend to come available when I decided that this was the route I was gonna go.

You definetly need to stop by some time and have a couple cold beers, actually we should have bbq with some of the other locals as soon as the snow goes away:D

I also need to come up with a new shift collar for the 203 and weld in a fill port in the 203 acess cover oh and get ahold of some 1350 yokes front and rear:D

Hey David unless you are getting 1350 yolks for a great price consider going 1410, the 1410 allows alot more angle before binding. You can get the 60 yoke from the rear of a newer dodge 70, I don't think there is a stock 1410 app for the 14b.

Although the yoke for the 1410 from the 70 uses straps, I got my straps at car quest and they are spicer parts and beefy, I don't think I will need to worry about them

Yeah if I buy new I'll sure look into it but I'm trying to find some used ones locally first.

Chaddy PM'ed me a bit ago asking about a little Shoot-n-Greet, I'm thinking Shoot-n-Greet-n-BBQ! Anybody interested?
OR Maybe a BBQ-n-Build, we take turns at each others place wrenching on each others junk. Just thinking out loud.:doah:

I have a customer that I machine the 1350 yokes off 14bolts to accept U-bolts and then he welds flat bar on the ends to help protect the caps, could probably do the same thing for the dana 70 1410s.

I'm up for a BBQ anytime especially if there's cold beer involved:laugh:. What do you mean by shoot though, like maybe going out to the west desert and shoot some clay pigeons? I have a thrower I built for a receiver hitch:D

I got my 1410 yokes with u-bolt retainers for my D60 and 14 FF from NWF. Pretty reasonably priced IMO...

Good peace of mind, and better angularity.

Not sure what Chaddy meant, I'm thinking range time.
But yeah lets do a BBQ, one of these weekends.

Not to hijack Davids thread but if you guys plan a bbq I will do everything I can to be there.

Now for the tech stuff, I got some 1410 yokes for my t-case that have been machined to fit u bolts but the straps on the stock 1410 yoke are pretty beefy so I think I will run them for a while

I'll step down to the regional area and post up for us Utah/Idaho and who ever wants to show up.

No more messing up this thread.
