what is the backspace on the CUCV 8blt rims did you go with???
im putting 1 ton axles and 12blts on my M1009 and was currious :)

Well It's a small job shop and we work mainley for Laser, Food processing, Health exercise equip, oil field and a little off road stuff these days. Over the years since 1994 I have worked for just about every industry out there. I have one 2004 four axis Mazak cnc mill, one 1989 three axis Mazak cnc mill, also one 1991 three axis Mazak cnc lathe and one 2004 two axis Mazak cnc lathe plus manual mill and lathe support equipment.
 
Went wheelin for my first time:D We went to a local place called the snakes just west of Salt lake city. It was a hoot but I seriously need to put my crossover setup on, narrow the front and shorten it up. Other than that is was fun. Here is a few pictures of the after math.

it almost seems like you dont have enough weight in the back to get any sort of traction. also, what kinda tire pressure were you running? i think if you got that fuel cell, spare, and truggy tubing in the back youd be good to go!

10 psi but later aired down to 4psi but still was a no go. It still needs some work for sure:D
 
Cool truck, and awesome vids :waytogo:

x2 on the weight distribution, some more weight over the rear axle should help a lot,
especially if you've got an open front diff.
I'm relocating my batteries to the bed to help with this.

If your gonna truggify it, shortening the wheelbase would be a good idea as well.
 
Yeah before I go out again I gotta install my fuel cell, I'm surprised the stocker didn't leak after that beating. Also need to install my crossover, hydro assist and some xj seats I have. Probably won't get my doubler in until I'm ready to shorten and link the rear. It was a hoot though:D
