Hey folks this is my first post and first time being here, i have gotten a K5 for a restoration project, i want to point out this is my first restoration project i have ever done on my own. im working on trying to get the bed sides removed but have no knowledge on how they are attached other than some spot welds on the rail and door jams, upon doing research i really cant seem to find much information on this subject other than 1st gen blazers which i seen have bolted bedsides. I would love to hear some ones insight on who has done this before im all ears, i greatly appreciate anyone taking the time to read this and give me advice. Thank you!

It's mostly bolt on like the 1st gen.
There's some caulking that will also challenge you.
There's very little spot weld on both ends.
Start looking underneath and you will start seeing the bolts.
The spot welds you see I believe are the ones separating the 2 layers of the sides.
