1989 Toyota 4Runner

Building the truck my friend won’t be able to
Really ? I can't say I have been under the hood of any 89 4 runners, but I have never seen a brake line go above the reservoir

I agree with Wes - I ain’t never ever seen a brake line routed like that and I’ve been under the hood of a great number of Yota’s over the years.
I’m not say’n that it can’t be bled but I don’t think it came that way.

But, I could be wrong and just never took the time to notice it…

EDIT: I am wrong about this brake line routing path - read on and see pics.

This other style is as high as the over the booster so ........ I'm guessing this doable. Don't know what Toyota was thinking would be just as easy to go under than over

hey I are one, have had 5 or 6 yota's Wife's current car is a Scion TC, My 1st was 72 Highlux with 750k miles plus when I sold it to a neighbor, Duaghter had a gen 1 Rav from 16 to 34 when it was totaled, I really liked that car. Couple more of Scions and Celica Gt

I hate to say it but I’ve owned almost more Yota’s than Chevys….but after adding them up I’ve had nine Chevys v/s seven Yota’s - so I’m safe.

Topped the power steering fluid off and went for a drive. All the noise from the pump stopped so I’m calling it good. This thing really does drive smooth and nice. Headlights suck though. Forgot how bad 1989 headlights were. Needs a blinker module as the lights turn on but they don’t flash. Steering has about 4” of slop but not surprising considering everything is original.

What’s the easiest way to bleed the clutch? Need to get that done. Going to buy all the fluids for everything tomorrow once pay day happens.

Powerbleeder, as that line goes higher then the c-master as well...
