I agree with Wes - I ain’t never ever seen a brake line routed like that and I’ve been under the hood of a great number of Yota’s over the years.Really ? I can't say I have been under the hood of any 89 4 runners, but I have never seen a brake line go above the reservoir
I’ve seen them routed like this pic but not wrapped around the P/B like the other pics… Hmmm.well there ya go

I found another photo of style like yours just didn't show as well
I hate to say it but I’ve owned almost more Yota’s than Chevys….but after adding them up I’ve had nine Chevys v/s seven Yota’s - so I’m safe.hey I are one, have had 5 or 6 yota's Wife's current car is a Scion TC, My 1st was 72 Highlux with 750k miles plus when I sold it to a neighbor, Duaghter had a gen 1 Rav from 16 to 34 when it was totaled, I really liked that car. Couple more of Scions and Celica Gt

That’s some STRONG credibility right there !!Just counting the 62 to 67 Chevy II's I've owned I'm safe.![]()
Damn, I guess I never noticed while working on those years Yota’s - perhaps I should have opened my eyes a little more…My 85 has the brake lines the same way, pretty common on the 84-88/89 bodystyle pickups and 4runners.
