1990 K5 Blazer Project "Side-Chick"

Aptly named because this project is taking all the time and money that should be spent with my family, LOL! The plan for this truck is going to be an adequate trail rig thats still nice enough, and comfortable enough for my family to enjoy with me.
I would run that. .008 and that depth is good, to me. And is on the acceptable patterns chart with places like yukon.

Admittedly, I have not flexed this thing out with the tires on yet. In y'alls opinion, should I push the front axle forward another 1"?

Looks great!

What's the current location of the axle? I had the axle 2"-2.5" forward on my old blazer and liked it there.

Currently it's only forward 1". I had ORD move the center pin on the springs when they made them for me.
Are you willing to cut the fenders? If not, then pushing forward a little more and setting your bump stops will be the way, IMO.
I intentionally kept the lift size to 6" to help keep a lower center of gravity. Im also running 40s. So I knew from the start that fender trimming is going to be necessary.

I think it looks good in that location honestly. I say trim and set the bumps.

Yeah, I'd say run it as is. You can always move it forward more later.

Now, when you drive like me and smash the rear drive line, it won't pee everywhere when you pull the shaft out

damn, that looks like a new ORD line too. Was the hard line buggered up?
