1991 CHEVY V3500 3+3 SILVERADO BUILD (new video added)

Did you use any special product to de-grease the engine bay, or just lots of elbow grease? That is what I'm doing on my crew cab next weekend

A lot of "elbow grease". I took a bucket of water with dish soap, and scrubbed it. Used Simple Green on the bad parts, and an electric drill with a wire wheel on the worse parts. All-in-all...it took about 5-hours of work to get it clean, and that is not counting the time it took to tape it and paint it.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I'm planning on a full day for that job. Truck looks good dude!

Don't worry about it being a 2 bolt main engine. 1) It won't make enough power to hurt anything. And 2) If you do wind up getting crazy and making a lot of power with it you can have splayed caps installed in it. They are stronger than the standard 4 bolt main caps.

Nice looking rig! sub'ed.

Yep good choice for not messing with the computer

Nice truck!! Looking foreward to more updates!

lol, that thread is awesome.

Stephen's post is, anyway. :D

I got a bored out TBI with adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and matched fuel injectors from Vic Morse Machine.

Now I need to take care of some of the small details like running valve adjustment, set the IAC idle, and set timing.

Excellent detail work!
