1991 k2500 build

I got bored.

Craig wants a truss for his 14sf to match the one I designed for the front... This is what I do by myself at 1:30am I guess lol

Gonna have these upper mounts cut that I just drew up.

The front 5 holes are on a 47.5" radius which is the length of the wishbone. So should be able to adjust without even turning the heim in or out.

Holes are 1" and tube hole is 2".

Wishbone mock up.

Can't get over the sexiness of those brackets lol

:thumb: the rear works just like I designed it

Stock driveshaft even fits perfect

****ing saweet.

Thread makes me wonder why all my friends were/are such lazy ****ing bums when it comes to building anything... I was the only guy ever actually putting something together, you seem like you've got a band of merry fab men.

Thanks dude. Kind of my first try on any of this. Im glad I have hook ups to cut the plasma stuff out. I think the brackets and trusses turned out awesome and really make it DIY and super clean :D

Idk if I mentioned that the lower frame bolts are 1-1/4 in diameter, and the wishbone upper bolts are 1". Delron bushings in 2" .250 wall tubing at the frame mounts. 1-1/4" lower hiems.

Crazy overkill lol. 1-1/4 shank bolts are like serious rock bouncer/ KOH territory. Plenty of guys have no issues with 9/16ths and 5/8s lol.

We call ourselves Overkill Kustomz. (its spray painted all over the garage lol).

Nothing legit (yet) but we do tend to make stuff overkill :haha:
