1993 4 Headlamp On At Same Time Relay?

I've got one of those I'll sell cheap. Bought it before realizing my LMC headlight direct wiring setup would interfere with it.

For $30 you could put a high beam and low beam relay in to make all of the lights brighter and get the "all 4 on" feature at the same time for free.

I don't know what all the kits cost - they are quicker to install and that is at least half of what you pay for. I used waterproof relays from parts express ($5/two) and wire, solder, heat shrink, ring terminals, etc. that I already had on hand, so my immediate cost was $5 to run the headlights on 10 gauge wire from the electrical center (oh yeah, I already had an electrical center, but you can go to the battery or wherever you want) with the simple diode setup to give low beams with high. If you had to buy all of the wire and stuff I would guess the cost would be $20? However, building it yourself easily requires a couple hours of time in cutting and stripping wire, soldering connections, etc. If you don't have the tools the cost will be more than buying a kit.

I think this thread has the answers for you: http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=257085&highlight=headlight+relay

I thought the kit from LMC was $40 or $50 and required only addition of the diode.

The kit from LMC is like $30.

I never did get an idiot proof answer on how to adapt the LMC harness so the high beams and low beams were on at the same time. Moved right afterwards and just haven't touched it since.

So is it free, or $30? Summit gets $30, but one has to buy or find a relay...

The summit kit comes with the relay. I have that exact kit and it works flawlessly. All four headlights will stay on when i turn the high beams on and now because of the relay the lights are also brighter than before.

Nope.

Reroutes the power so it goes directly from the batteries to the lights and the switch only runs a relay. Factory has the power going from the batteries to the switch and then back to the lights.

Wait, we are talking about LMC's headlight wiring upgrade harness, right? Just remembered LMC does stuff for the newer trucks as well now.
