I have a 1999 S10 as my dd. The front ring tried to "walk" the pinion and this caused it to crack the housing in three pieces and droped the drive shaft. By the time i could pullover off the highway ( running 75 ) the front outboard cv exploded and this caused the wheel bearing to give way and the wheel went back into the fender causing the knuckle to bend. Anyway would a 1996 olds bravada 3.73 geared diff, and knuckles work in the 1999 chevy? I know that the Bravada is all wheel drive and its common to swap the passenger side shaft to eliminate the selector fork on the chevys. I just dont know if the knuckle on the chevy is larger being a zr2 and the year difference? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The ZR2s had a different suspension setup and wider stance than the regular 4X4s. They basically had a 4" lift from the factory(how all the S10 4X4s should have been in the first place. Missed the mark again GM). This might make all of your suspension parts different.

Try to see if autozone or one of the other parts stores has the parts you want available online and compare tehm to the bravada.

Well, it's all broken anyways. What you need to do is cut out all that IFS stuff and replace it with a solid axle.

But, if your intent on just gettin it fixed up. I believe the knuckle is ZR2 specific, the bearing may be ZR2 specific as well. The diff and right axle tube should swap out fine. The CV axle may swap but not sure.
