It's the first time it snowed here this year and the first time I've ever lived where snows.
Hate to hear that Better get used to it way up there in Wisconsin. We only get about 2 real good snowfalls here in southwestern Ohio.I would much rather have the snow than the ice though. We get alot of sleet here.It still cracks me up though to see the "yuppies" in their SUVs that think they can walk on water then end up off the road or worse yet on their top.
got about 1/2 " in someplaces here in Kazoo, more is expected
we had alot of snow here as well. didnt stick but at times we couldnt see what we were doing. good thing the asphalt is warm or we would have froze our asses off.. 12 hours out there today, great fun
yeah in southfield it was a mini blizzard a few times today. did you notice that the wind blew harder when it snowed then subsided when the sun came back out?
It is snowing here currently. The wind is coming straight out of the north. I better enjoy this before the ice comes!
it just got wet here JESS. but people thought they were driving on ice. hell yesterday i saw a lady go over the curb getting southbound on telegraph off 8 mile. it was raining but damn. she blew the pass front tire out.i woulda stopped but i had to get home and water my fish.
we are supposed to get more tommorow.more squalls.just enough to make a mess.
Will the Tigers be playing in snow for their next home game?
sadly yes!!! You gotta love Michigan, kinda funny b/c this last weekend it was 68* now its snowing and 27*
My mom got off the phone with my grandpa a little while ago and they were talking about it. So I thought that I would bring it up to you other Michiganders. The snow this early in the season makes me glad that I don't live out there anymore.
they moved it to 4.00 pm in the afternoon so it wouldn't be so cold.
we never know what to wear! and HEATHER you are sooo lucky.
I think the one thing I missed during high school out here were the fog delays. Those were nice except that I had already gotten up at 7 or so. I miss having a white Christmas and Thanksgiving though.
snow is cool on those days but then back to the 80's. we had snow before thanksgiving last year but this before holloween stuff is nuts. its supposed to be 63 degrees.
Wasnt long ago it was 70s and 80s here. Last week I was running the AC in the semi I was driving. Today Windy and FREAKIN cold, windsheild of like 2 at 8 this morning it said on the radio I think a high of 35 or somethin like that
just had to say i love your captain spalding avatar.**** yo mamma. man thats a great movie!!!
i thunk we are gonna have an early winter Wally. i HATE WINTER!!!!
Glad I'm not...
In BUFFALO NY!!..they got TWO FEET of snow yesterday! ..
The "Farmers Almanac" predicted a "Wetter and colder than normal" winter for the northeast...completely opposite of the National Weather Service's long range forcast, that predicts a warmer than usual winter for much of the USA..
I'm betting the Farmer's Almanac will win out..though I'd rather see warmer temps and little or no snow, like last winter...I HATE winter too--its six months of your life WASTED...
(litterally!--nothing else to do but get wasted!) ..
