i am planning on going with a bigger tire than 35"s, and right now i have a 4 inch lift, i wanna go with 37"s and am going to put a 2 inch bdy lift, but i was wondering, what all needs to be reworked/replaced when doing a 2" body lift?

I have a 2" BL on my Suburban. The fan shroud will need to be modified and the gas filler hose will need to be modified also. Both are easy.

On top of those I would drill the plastic pins out of the steering shaft so it can extend, and if its an automatic it will need the shift linkage lengthened.

tell ya right now. 4" with 2" will require fender trimmin if any of roadin.

3" would be better but still need tiny fender trimin.

but if me i would do 2" if you had to. then 1" zero rate / ez inch block all 4 leaf springs. then move the front axle forward 1" or the 1.5 thay offer in movement. also the rear back mabye 1" . this will realy help with no trimming of the fenders. but might require more mods like new spring top plates / shocks / driveshaft work / adjust steering.

2" body lift will require fan shroud trim yes. also possible t-case shifter adjustment and tranny linkage adjustment. fuel filler tube hose lengthin posiible on some rigs.

so pretty much all i would need to do is modify the fan shroud ,extend the shift linkage and the steering shaft, and possible t-case linkage adjustment?

Well i wouldnt do a body lift, do a shackle flip in the rear....

There are so many better/easyer ways to lift these blazers.....

Shackle flip, longer shackles, longer blocks, ez inch, add a leaf, ect.....

All can be found at this site for cheap.

If you want to stick with body lift then here is info you need.

steering, gas tank filler, fan, radiator, bumpers, shifter, somtimes brake lines. and anywires that may be on the frame.

Dont mean to thread jack. I have no lift and was planning on replacing my mounts along with a ORD 1" lift. Now would these modifications apply as well? also can I clear 33" with 1" body lift the truck wont see wheeling because its so clean and cant justify cutting up.
Thanks
