So, the first one is for a 14 Bolt C&C Axle, these have a much different offset but it is pretty easy to make and allows the use of the now standard 3/4 Ton Chevy front Calipers and Rotors......they are also 3/8" and bent and also only $50 a pair!

The second variation is for those of you using a standard SRW 14 Bolt axle and the pretty common C&C hub swap to gat a narrower width. Again, using the Chevy stuff and also only $50 a pair!

Thanks for all the input from CK5 guys as to what you want us to make! More in the days to come......:wink1:

The C&C bracket is becoming popular!

Shipped about 10 pair last week......Not like the 14 Bolt SRW bracket but catching on......

This is the regular SRW 14 bolt piece

Sorry I missed this thread......

Here are the long promised pics......

C&C to SRW conversion bracket.....

The conversion bracket has 3 legs because they need to come from the inside out and cannot go over the axle, these need to be bent because the bracket must ride directly over the flange......

Hey man, love your stuff, got your covers but I was wondering why no one makes an aftermarket 3/4 ton 10 bolt front bracket. Then everyone could go 8 lug. I'm running an aftermarket bracket on my D60 and think its great.

We are working on the D44 front now......

How much different is it? Might be the same actually, I will check on it.

what does c&c stand for?

cab and chassis

Dan I don't know how much different they are but with my Front D60 I can run 3/4 ton rotors and calipers. Only thing a person would then need to convert they're front are the hub/spindle which are still availble through gm and part stores.

If I understood you correctly......

It was about the D44 front end......they are still available from GM but the cost is high, $131 a pair last I checked and still ~1/8" thick, the heavy duty ones are great at 1/4" thick but pretty hard to find and getting harder. My thought is why not better for $50......

Yeah I'm asking about the D44 and 10bolt front backing plates mainly with the 8 lug 3/4 ton spacing. I think they would be a hot item if someone made some like you do for the rear axles.

What is the thickness of your rear caliper mounts? Hello Sac-town!

Thanks Mike.

So what do I need to find inorder to use these? Right now I have a 12 bolt 6 lug rear, but considering going up to 8 lug, and if I can get 4 wheel disc, that's be awesome.

Dan, If i understand correctly, the c&c axle is the one from a dually? Then the SRW would be one from a 3/4 ton pickup? Sorry for the noob ?'s. I have a 14bff from an earlier 3/4 ton truck. which one would be for me? Thanks Mike.

Here you go Guys!

First off we make the 12 bolt bracket....

You need the SRW (single rear wheel) unless you have duals (C&C) or Cab & Chassis...

Don't worry about noob questions, we all have to start somewhere. I hate it when someone comes back with an idiot remark on a perfectly good question....Way too Pirate like....

Ok, I just checked the website and it looks like you have several.

You show the Eaton ones, would that be for the HO52 axle found in earlier trucks?

Also, aside from the 1975 Front calipers and rotors, what else would be necessary to convert from drums?

Yes, that Eaton....

Essentially, only matching up to your brake line fittings. You need to locate the proportioning valve and make sure it is adjustable, if it isn't get one that is and you are done for the parts....
