So I played with it on the street. cuz it zooms. I broke the u joints on the rear. Can I expect that everytime I get on it if I'm on the street? I've got a 383 with an rv cam.
I would have to assume you broke the U-joint due to severe axle wrap, worn straps, or it was a worn U-joint to begin with. I highly doubt you broke the U-joint because of the torque. Make sure your angles are good, and you have good U-joints.
idk if its the same but i use to take the fuse out of my 4 wheel drive actuator so it wouldnt lock the front end in( 95 silverado) and just mash the gas down in 4 lo haha prolly not very good on the truck but it would jerk your head back pretty hard also it would do a heck of a burnout for redlining at 5 mph hahaha
well the blazer is all stock as far as suspension. All original. Probably just old u joints then. I have knew ones. Gotta get a new axle and I'll try it again
Had a friend at college with a Mustang with a 351 CobraJet in it that we had, kinda, massaged.... I finally got him a clutch from Zoom that could handle the horsepower, and then he started twisting driveshafts.
But he never broke a U-joint.
