I replaced the seal but now the dust shield on the yoke hits the seal before the bolt on the yoke is tight. The seal is about flush with the aluminum housing. Do I need to beat it in a bit further. The blue silicone has cured all ready should I be concerned about that if I gotta hit on it somemore?/forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

The dust shield is not fixed, it's a tight fit and you can move it back and forth to position it, just use a screw driver or something as leverage and put it where you want.

The seal should sit about an 1/8" below the housing; I just replace both output seals.
