been looking for the 27 spline 205 for this for a while now. now im thinking it would be easier to get a a older 205 rebuilt it, twin stick and put it back in.

all i would need is the 27 spline part? anything else? just want to do it right the first time. thanks

In order to put a 205 behind a 700R4 you either need the AA short shaft in the 700 and a TH350/205 adapter or you need the teckpak fitzall spacer (7Q-35A) and the factory TH350/205 adapter.

Bowtie overdrives also makes a 32 spline output for 700R4s to swap in to run a 32 spline case. The problem with using the shorter shaft with a 205 is there is a clearance issue with the trans pan and the front output of the 205. With the longer shaft and spacer it pushes the output farther back and away from the trans pan.

Oh the shaft from BTO is not cheap it is something like $450
