I am getting ready to order my SYE for my 241 here today or tomorrow. It seems the price is about the same everywhere $340 just different vendors selling the JB SYE. Anybody know of any vendors that offer a CK5 discount that carry this?

What is the difference between the short and super short besides the length? I thought I remember the super short was only available for late gen 241's or something, but not sure. Mine is a cable speedo 89 case.

Flange or Yoke Output. I am getting a 1350 CV shaft built to compliment the SYE. What is the advantage of running or not running a flange? I would figure the flange is a little more $$ so any benefit?

Any other tips/ideas/advice from people that have done this.

Thanks in advance:D

if it were me, and it might be some day, i would try for the flange style and try and incorporate a driveline brake off of it.

Years ago when I ordered mine I got it through Jess at High Angle. I ordered my kit with a flange for a 1350 CV shaft instead of the yoke. I would give him or Tom Woods a call.

IIRC the super short is for drivers side drop only. Call Jesse at HAD. Tell him you are CK5. He will take care of you. If later you need a shaft, remind him that you bought the SYE from him. He will take care of you again.

Go flange if oyu are running the CV shaft. As stated before you could use that as a platform for a driveline brake later on.
