I took a look today and I don't have it. Not sure what happened to it I thought it was in my stash of parts.

Do you have the broken housing pulled yet?
If you would like to send it to me, I can get it to my local shop. I just dropped so e parts off to them today and they are about a week out.

hmmm i wonder... i have 2-3 spare 241s out in the container in my desert place. might be a couple weeks until im out there again, but, if this isnt resolved i can take a peak. the one im using is passenger drop with mechanical speedo... cant really remember what my spares have.

Okay let me know anything will work as of now I took it to a welding shop they told me $300 to fix it

With how long you've been looking, it might be worth it to replace the whole tcase. I see them pop up time to time on here. Also, have you looked at a driver drop 241 to see if that tailhousing will fit?

It will not.

I have an extra case just want to try to save this one. I know how hard they are to find.
