Notice that they tripled value in the last 3 years.

Which I'd suggest can be taken with a few grains of salt. Classic car insurers can charge more for insurance if they declare some vehicles are worth a higher amount. My valuation guestimates are based on how much a minimally rusted truck costs, combined with how much it costs (paint, parts & labor) to get the truck up to factory showroom new original condition, which is where the collector market value is found. Add a premium to the total cost for rarity. Then, a buyer can look at how much he'd save in having a ready-to-drive vehicle compared to starting from scratch on his own. Naturally, the paint, parts & labor costs go up with inflation, but the costs are what they are. That's where I see a problem with the Blazer Chalets and GMC Jimmy Casa Grandes, that some guy is telling me a Chalet is worth $30 grand that still needs correct restoration of the camper unit and various other fixes, while I see another barn find rig in decent enough condition that -- after applying the paint, parts & labor costs to it -- tallys up to $10 grand or more below the $30 grand rig....but this the classic market value stated by Hagerty. ....
