Hey I am looking into buying a diesel sub and I found a real nice one, Ive found a few actually but they are either beat to hell or 2 wheel drive. If i purchased this nice 88 3/4ton 2x4 diesel with 700R-4 how much work would be involved? Are the frames the same between 2 and 4 wheelers? Are the holes for spring hangers and crossmembers there? I know it would be easier to get a gasser and sling in a motor but I can throw a locker in the 2X for now and then gather parts, or should I just bite the bullet and get a gasser and eat it at the pump. Hey and just think if I can put leafs and an axle under the front its already got the crossover steering /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
  2. Just eat it at the pump or find 4x4 deisel Burb !! The swap will be painfully expensive unless you have a complete donor burb.
