I finally made it home, forgot to tighten the radiator cap... 1 mile up shelf had to hike to water, 10 miles up had vapor lock... got a Polaroid of my 4 boys...
Where did you pick that truck up from? I forgot you were in Cripple Creek until you mentioned Shelf road.

I got the truck in Salida, called My 17 year son old, He was at his mom's this week, asked him to go on a trip, said he got off at 2pm, picked him up went to Salida met the dude at walmart, he couldn't get it to start and i was hungry eating a 20$ burger, thats a different story, wiring is hacked,i finished my burger then found the problem, main power to cab was cut an had been hanging on with 2 strands... it came from Moffat. My kid snd I drove to Canon to pick up the cabover and my youngest 3 boys from grandparents weekend, and stayed there the night to dog sit, hot down there from my 10200 foot sanctuary... Shelf wasn't bad I used to drive my 87 suburban 20 time a year or more down it... was a good trial for the camper and the boys... glad they get to experience trucks breaking down and troubleshooting on the side of the road, reminds me of my childhood...

So need a driver side floor pan, I need to swap a dana 60 and a 14 bolt and swap carriers from a drw 14 bolt, if any one is close and can help with the gear swap. I have a ton of parts...I can trade or pay someone... I'll have to swap a 350 engine I have here from my jimmy build and get this 205 rebuilt... but seems like a solid truck

I got vapor lock on the way home because of it, you should see the hydro lines for the brakes...
