Can i put 350 heads 0n my 305 ,and what will it do for me?
You can put SBC 350 heads on a SBC 305. There are so many different valve sizes and combustion chamber sizes that it may or may not be beneficial. 350 heads with larger valves may flow more air, but they may have a larger combustion chamber that would reduce your compression ratio.
Check what you have vs what you can find before you do a swap.

MOST 305'S USE A 58CC HEAD. AND MOST 350'S USE 78CC HEADS (64CC HEADS ARE AROUND, BUT THE 78CC ARE THE MOST COMMAN) YOU'LL LOOSE COMPRESSION WITH THE 350 HEADS. I RECOMEND GOING WITH THE 58CC 305 HEADS. YOU CAN HAVE THEM REGROUND FOR LARGER VALVES IF YOU WANT TO, BUT YOU'RE DEALING WITH A 305. IF YOU'RE WANTING POWER, LOOK INTO DROPING A LARGER ENGINE IN PLACE OF THE 305. YOU CAN DO IT PRETTY CHEAPLY BUYING THE MOTOR FROM A SALVAGE YARD.
