I know goodyear makes that size but I thought they were a really common size. Am I blind or just wrong in saying that? I really thought all the major MT brands made a 37x12.5. I'm looking into them because I have to use my truck to commute to school next year.

i have a set of the MTs here. they are the old military tires for humvees. I was real impressed with the onroad performance of them. No clue offroad...i wouldn't expect much.

BFG makes the new M/T KM2 in a 37x12.5x17. I have a set of 35" M/T KM's in the 15" size and I love them. I'm looking to get some 40's in the KM2 for my '74 project.

Just about everybody has that size. The 37x12.5 is sorta the new 35.

What size wheel are you looking for?

Off the top of my head:

BFG, Cooper, Interco, Mickey T, Maxxis, Yokohama, etc.

15 or 16 strictly. Preferably 15.

Buckshots dont come in 37s, neither do khumos, BFG's, Fire/Bridge stone, or yokos or coopers

Well, what do you expect? It's a big tire and today's trends aren't for the smaller wheel sizes. 5 years ago people thought 16's were big and now tires are introduced and 15's and 16's aren't even offered!

You'd get better lateral stability with a 16" wheel so consider that option.

I ran the TrXus MT's on my Ranger and loved them. They get great reviews everywhere and were a great value. Between the siping and the soft rubber they were the best MT's I've ran up here in Michigan winters.

Yeah but they are more than the Goodyears and if I ran through so much **** in my toyota with 33 AT goodyears I can only imagine their 37 MT's.

I really liked my TrXus MT's. 15k + on my TTB Ranger with a so-so alignment the whole time and with regular 3000 mile rotations they looked great. I could have easily seen 30k and wouldn't have been surprised at all by 40k or better.

37x12.5's for 15" wheels do seem to be less commonly manufactured vs the same size for 17" rims. BFG doesn't make any - if you want a 37" Mud Terrain you have to use 17" wheels. Many others are the same way.

Off the top of my head I know that Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek and Interco have 37x12.5 or 37x13.5's for 15" wheels. none of them are really much, of any, cheaper than MTR's though. Like the fella said, 37" radials ain't cheap. I know - I recently bought a set :wink1:

I have 37" coopers! But, in a 17" rim flavor.

Mickey Thompson has Baja Claws in 37x13.50 R15 also, Pro Comp has Xterrains in that size too.

There's a few 37 12.50 R15's out there, as mentioned Interco has some.

Good luck bro!

if youre getting the MT/R youll love them. theyre a great street tire, so is the old MT.

Made in China, no doubt

Of course, so are most Hankook tires, but you get to pay full boat for those...
