so i just finished installing my Pro Comp 4 inch lift kit. to even get the front axle perches to align with the leaf springs i had to disconnect the driveshaft. now it seems like this one won't be long enough. is there a simple solution like a shim between the transfer case and driveshaft or am i gonna have to get this one lengthened. if there is a shim where can i get it at? any help would be greatly valued.

just get it lengthened. im unaware of any kind of spacer.

how much spline are you showing with the shaft installed?

If you have a 80's K5, they sell a 1" spacer that goes between the t-case flange and the flange on the driveshaft.

Whats funny is some of us have no issues , and some of us do .

I hit my exhaust a little flexing ( small shop exhuast ) , but run the same shaft as stock .

Its really funny...ive heard of the same sorta issues...4-5" showing spline, but my front shaft is fine with 7" of lift...no splines show at ride heigth. The only issue i had was it hitting my y-pipe...cut it, installed the shaft, drove to the shop and had them cut more and bend a new pipe and weld it in for under 100$. Its wierd how things happen like they do.
