Getting ready to install my Art Carr shifter. have a few questions.

What did you do with the nutral safty switch? Did you bypass the switch?

Also when I remove all the linkage from tranny and from the colum does the original ring where the shifter was does it stay in the park position or does it just free spin? I hope the last part makes a little sence

Umm, nothing.

It stays in the park position, you can also move it down so it will not be able to start, kind of a poor mans theft deterant.

Don't forget that you can just punch out the pin that holds the original shift lever in place... makes the column a little cleaner now that you shift with the Art Carr...

I put a manual tranny straight column in for a clean install and to rid the stupid tilt that would come loose no matter what
