If you have one, can you measure how far below the frame your Tcase hangs?

Well it seems I am not the early bird!! Measured this mornin, 205tc was 3 1/2 inches below frame and the crossmember was another inch below that.These measurements are with the crossmember above the frame with a original rubber mount,if it makes a difference.

I asked a similar question, my setup in the K5 frame looks like it hangs down WAY too far, although it lines up with the crossmember ok.

About 3.5" from the bottom of the skidplate to the frame on my '91 V3500 CC.

I don't think so on a Crew Cab. They are all 8" frames unlike the std cab trucks. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe all the crewcabs have the taller frame. 8" sounds about right.

This is a conversion project so I really didn't have anything to compare too. Divorced 205 and its in a 2wd crewcab that I'm converting. It's hanging there now just looks stupid low. The crossmember for it is above the transfercase not below so it just looks different. I think I'll leave it for now. If nothing else my driveline angles are better and its a tow rig so break over angle is not a concern. Thanks for the measurements though guys. That gives me something to compare too!

Hmm, I don't think I remember mine looking like it hangs down too far. 3.5" might sound right.
