454 TBI on a 350?

Hey guys, sorry if this has been posted before. Can/should I put a 454 TBI on my new rebuilt 350? It has flat top pistons and shorty headers. I'm getting ready to install the intake, but heard I should put on a BB TBI. What should I do? Stay with what I have now, which is stock, or go to the BB TBI? Thanks in advance!!

Using a 454 TBI will require a chip burn and you would have to modify the intake manifold so the larger 2" throttle blades clear the intake throttle bores. Also if you run a 700R4 you will have to address the TV cable since NO BBC's ever had a 700R4 behind them so there is no provision for a TV cable on the TBI unit.

I wish I could. My wife is having our baby girl on or around the 20th. She would be pissed! Next year. Bradshawtech(Tom) was at my house today. He welded in a steering brace and helped me put together my new engine! Damm he's good. We will be stabbing it on wed or thurs.

Tom is a good guy, I met him a little over a year ago when he was passing through the area. He knew I wasn't too far off the beaten path so he PMed me and arranged a lunch meeting.
