I haven't looked, but I've never seen a new one that low, no matter who it was made by! Better buy spares at that price.
yes sir, $99.99, they list it for 87-91.

B_to_C said:There's a reason Autozone's are so much cheaper. I went through this when I had to replace my sender and the one from the stealership was going to cost close to $400. So I said "Screw it I'll buy the Atozone one". Well my mechanic said he wouldn't warranty anything he installed that came from Autozone...but I didn't care I thought I was getting a good deal. Turns out the Autozone pump uses an inferior rubber hose section in the sender that collapses when there's pressure in the system. Luckily we still had my old sender and replace the peice of hose....but that was after installing / taking out the tank (again). Obviously that is probably not the only inferior "cost saving" part in the assembly. Just thought I'de share![]()

GM used a fuel pump timing module on some 1-ton trucks. It leaves the fuel pump running for 20 seconds after the engine is shut off. Perhaps it was an attempt to help prevent fuel in the lines from boiling on shut down? In any case, the factory manual says that they weren't installed in any other trucks.Shh...I'm hiding said:It is a gm part and the module is for the injectors... a pulse module i think. Still feel like i got ripped!
rocknutah said:The price on the sender is G.M. list price. At least they did'nt bump retail. A.C. Delco has always been overly proud of their products, and in many cases sell to sources other than the dealers for less than we can get it from G.M. We've been beating that horse for a long time.
Try to get a program going with the local dealer parts dept for discounts to CK5 members. The idea of free advertising on the site, with the possiblity of business from members just passing thru, may sway them your way. Usually if you go in with a decent attitude, and ask for a little help on the price, they'll work with you.
As for the module. If it was fuel system related, I'm lost.
