you say the 350 needs a rebuild. what all does it need exactly? what does it come with? im looking for something to drop into my K20 instead of the 6.2L that is in there.

interested in the steering box..any leaks...how tight...what year did it come off i need one with a small shaft for an xj shaft...

sorry guys for the late response. was out of town....

How hard would it be to mount the seats in a K5? Any pics?
they mounted pretty easy in mine. not a big deal. bolted into the stock holes, but i think we used the stock brackets. shouldn't be a big hassle and they recline :D i had planned on getting pics of everything this past weekend but battery died on me. will do that this weekend tho.

i don't think this motor is for you then. with 3.08s and 35s, i could still the make the Blazer move, but it's been sitting for about 2 years and I would rather go through it all before installing it.

Does it have a 32 spline input?
27 spline input but just found one of the teeth chipped on the intermediate shaft, but i think when you run a doubler, they include this as a new piece to attach the doubler, well that's the case with my NWF doubler anyway.....

came off a '72 K5. really great condition, no leaks, bought it from Oreilly's about a year or less before taking my Blazer apart.

The D70 U bolts, what grade, what diameter, are they the type where the bolts point down and do they come with washer and nuts?

Also, can they accomodate a perch that is +1" in height?

thx

i think they're grade 8, not sure, i ordered them from ORD, they're made for a D70 diameter, the u bolts point up, and they do come with washer and nuts. i think they should accomodate a spring perch that is !+". how thick is your leaf pack? i can't use them with a spring perch that is about 1/2" taller than stock & TCI 3" 64s. these thing are brand new with some surfrace rust since they've been bolted on for about 2/3 weeks. other than that they haven't seen any use, just some poser flex pics. lol. let me know.

Thanks for the info. I need the down pointing ones to match my spring plates. I dont play on the rocks so I don't see it being an issue.
