1. I can pull over and stop when I need or want to. Not in a plane though. 2. I have more leg room and it feels less confined than a plane. 3. I can choose who I sit with or don't want to sit with (who to take with or not). 4. I'm in control of operating the vehicle, can see where I'm going, know how everything works. 5. I'd be unlikely to "miss my flight" in my motorhome on a trip and be forced to spend 5 hours at SeaTac waiting for the next available motorhome. Though the advantages of flying include: Quicker travel time- I can do 65 tops in the motorhome... planes can do a bit more than that. You get a nice view looking down on things on a plane. Fuel costs at 5mpg are horrid in a motorhome... but I have yet to calculate that in comparison to airline ticket costs. As a kid, I used to be scared of flying, but it didn't bother me on this latest trip we took. I enjoyed parts of it BUT still concluded that I prefer being on 2 feet or 4 wheels.
