Yep, now we are catching up to each other. Couple of things the B-52 was designed to do. Make it so you can tune your shackle angle a bit. Eliminate the need to move the frame-eye hanger.

Now, if you throw a 56 in the equation, I'm thinking use the same B-52 mount up front and move the rear frame eye hanger back to make up the difference.

i guess u are not the only dummy.

Not the greatest compliment I have ever received... lol!! :haha:

At any rate, I really like having the front spring hanger as far forward as is possible. Guess I'll stick with the regular old L-bracket move. I am getting rid of my body mount though... so maybe I'll email you a CAD drawing of a new front spring hanger and see what ya think Kurt. :thumb:

I've moved the rear hanger before, so I don't have a problem moving it again for 56s. Since they are relatively close together (especially when you start moving the hanger back!) it seems like a B52-like bracket that had the hanger and body mount in one piece would make sense...

Be happy to take a look at it.

I may still do something with this. Who knows, it may come down to something like the "best" place to put the rear hanger. Or most convenient.

didn't mean it as an insult, but i think u know that:D

i am w/ u jekbrown, i want to move my hanger foward enough to keep from moving the rear shackle. i could move it but i thought it would be easier if i didn't.

Glad this is cleared up. I hope to have the writeup posted real soon after my Flat Nasty trip. My truck is still at my friends shop getting other mods that I did not have time to do while I was there doing the swap. I can snap a few photos if needed.

I also have to do some "Testing" at Flat Nasty Offroad Park on May 6-7.

Yep, move the shackle eye hanger back.

If you position it just right, front to back steering would work as long as you don't flex. As soon as you go offroad your steering will bind up. Crossover is pretty much required.

No body mount is no problem at all. It will get gusseted to make up for the strenght difference. The body mount supports the bracketry so gussets to replace are a must. No time difference though.
