Apparently some time during the 88' model year GM went to a 1 piece rear seal from what I understand. I was told to call gm with my vin to see what style I have.

I am not worried abnout it now since I found out the rubber piece at the back half of the oil pan wasn't the rear main, but just a piece of the oil pan gasket. If I ever tear this thing down for a rebuilt(doubt it) I will let it be known what I have.
Does the dog snore and can it sleep the night without getting up? I have two who have recently lost their minds and no longer seem to be able to sleep all night without bothering me. Used to snooze all night just fine...
