Are rear axles the same...........6-lug vs 5-lug as far as swapping axle shafts?

The fellow that I got the Stepside from swapped axles. Now it's a 3.08 and it needs a 4.10 since it's a 250-6 cylinder! If I find a 60/14 combo I can afford I can use the 12 bolt from the Blazer, maybe!

Yes, axles the same, except for the lug pattern. Swap away!
