Would anyone know where to start looking for a tranny for a 63 tbird?
What kind of tranny is in it? C6? C4? Or is that back in the old days before those...?
I don't know yet on that. It belongs to my uncle and I'm suppose to get more info on it tonight.....I hope
Hell, I can't even find a site that tells me what the trans type is
Does it have a 390 in it? If it does and you want to swap in a NP435 4spd I have one of those I can hook you up w/ for cheap!!
the original tranny was a cruso cast iron tranny
I don't give a sh!t what they had, just need to find one.
transmission warehouse in portland
I think it helps to know what it has in order TO find one
thats just it, i don't know if the t-bird had one that went bad, or if they are restoring one and bought it without one.
well find out we kinda need more info. is it a cruso cast iron a c4 c6 we kinda need to know
Ok, found out a little more info on the t-bird. Its my cousins actually, he bought it WITHOUT a tranny in it and it has a 390 for a motor.
Im tellin ya man, I will make you a good deal on a NP435 w/ a 390 Bellhousing! I will even throw in the shifter... but you may want to cut it down a bit for the Tbird!!
I found out thru mudhogs dad that it had a Cruise-O-matic tranny stock.
