I was messing around in the engine bay and seen a what appears to be a vacuum line that got stuck in my header. I pulled the melted part out of the header and traced the line to the top of the transmission. Its a 700r in an '84 Blazer. Is this a vacuum line that needs to get attached somewhere or is it jus a vent line. I dont see anything in the engine bay that is missing its hose, so dont know where it goes to tell ya the truth.

Any help?

No vacuum controls on the 700 that go to the trans, i believe the only vacuum item on the early ones, was a switch on the firewall for the torque converter, and the later models used the computer, other than that, it run off the T/V cable.

Probably just an added length of hose for the vent .
