yep, but there is a short and tall from what i remember.

alright cool, im getting a 700R4 that had a 208 behind it, and my adatper is kinda jacked up (i got a 241) so i would like to use to one on the new tranny

yes they are the same.

81-84 are the tall 208 adapters 85-91 are the short 208/241 adapters.

1 thing i noticed when i put the short adapter in my 83 is the tall adapter is about 1/8" thinner than the short adapter. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif have no clue why.

IIRC, you will need a different crossmember when switching between the two.

yes you will need a different crossmember and different mounts. there are upper and lower mounts on both sides, 4 total.
