72 K5 Blazer frame off restoration

72 K5 build
Any updates on this project?

The body is at the body shop awaiting the RS Chassis that should arrive sometime this month. I will post an update along with pics once the chassis gets here.

Thanks for asking

Did the RS Chassis show up?

Once you are cruising around, would love to check out your blazer. Let me know if you take it to any local cruises, shows or cars and coffee type events. I'm just a hair south of you in Novato.

Thanks for reaching out.

Chassis should arrive in 4 to 5 weeks.

I probably will not do any car shows, K5 is going to be my daily driver but I might open to cruiseing to Novato for a meet and greet once its finished.

Sweet, looking forward to what you do with it. Making it a daily driver is awesome. If you are ever up for it I'd come up to see what you are up to on it and shoot the breeze.

I lived over in Bennett Valley for a couple years when I attended SRJC (early 2000's) and still come up every once in a while to visit friends, drink some local beer, etc.

Awesome project!

If you are waiting months on an LS3 my place has limited numbers in stock, could have it to you in a week. It's a GM 430HP LS3 crate engine, #19432414. Could be a lot more than that with a cam swap.

How is the build coming along and are you happy with the RS4 chassis?
