73-80 vs 81-87 hood?

    what are the differences?

    I'm pretty sure they fit different(wipers come to mind),

    but can you tell the diff off the truck?

    say you see one at the swap meet, how would you tell..........

    73-80 has the louvered cowl piece integral.

    '81-87 is a solid piece of sheetmetal.

    The fron end is also slimer, it tapers down as opposed to the earlier being thick and tall on the front.
    But the most obvious is off course the louvered section at the cowl.
