73-91 Tach gauge cluster wanted.

Im looking for a stock gauge cluster with a tach in it. Anyone who has one let me know what you want for it. I have heard the 80 and up are different but can you still use them? Also at some time they went to electric speedo. Can these also be used on older models? I have a 74 k5.

I've have one from a pre '79 truck I'd sell. I don't know if the tach works because I don't have a running truck to hook it up to nor do I have the OE tach harness. I'd like $75 + freight for it, I can post pics tonight if you're interested.

I don't remember any broken tabs but it's been a while since I looked at it. I'll get you some front & back pics this evening.

The biggest differences you will find are a change from an Ammeter to Voltmeter (~77 and up) and also a change from mechanical oil pressure to an electrical guage (~'76 and up). Then the speedo changed from 120 mph to 85 mph around ~81 or so along with symbols in place of the words on the guages.

'74 has both the Ammeter and mechanical oil pressure guages.

I would prefere the electric oil gauge anyways. Does it work with an aftermarket sender or do you have to find a stock one. I believe my gauges are original. My gas gauge doesnt work either. I dont know if its wiring but I just bought a painless wiring kit to rewire the whole truck. My left turn signal in the cab stays on when I turn on the lights and my speedo is off by about 20mph. I know thats not electric but I believe the speedo is messed up. if not im sure I can fix it. By the way NVRENUF does it have the wiring for the tach? And does it have an electric oil gauge?

I'm sorry but I have to back out. My clusters are in pretty rough condition so I am uneasy about selling them. Sounds like Greywolf has exactly what you need, sorry to have wasted your time.
