Refresh us, are you going with 33's?it's about time to order the lift kit. I looked at the part of the site where everybody posts pics of theirs with the amount of lift listed but there wasn't much in the way of two inch lifts on k5's when I checked last time. I want a stance where the rear is slightly higher than the front and don't want to go any higher than 2 inches especially in the front to avoid having to mess with driveshaft/steering etc. if anybody has any ideas, i'd love to hear em before I just wing it. I'm in uncharted territory from here on out
To my eye, the rear needs lifted about an inch more than the front because of the fender openings being at different heights. The rear springs seem to sag worse then the fronts as well, so they often look like butt draggers.it's about time to order the lift kit. I've noticed that too. I guess im just weird but my bronco is slightly tail up and what I was going to try forInteresting, most have the front at a slight rake.
Mine is that way and the majority if not all of the ones I’ve seen.
yes sirRefresh us, are you going with 33's?
I like that idea best so farTo my eye, the rear needs lifted about an inch more than the front because of the fender openings being at different heights. The rear springs seem to sag worse then the fronts as well, so they often look like butt draggers.
You could actually use stock springs with a zero-rate up front and a 2" block in the back, or a 2.5" shackle flip. Then a 1" body lift. But I don't know what your plan is for bumpers. Just a thought.
@500$k5 did this with 33's, rear blocks. I don't find a picture of his on flat ground, so..
