I got the passenger side body and spring mount removed tonight and the b52 on that side. I'll tackle the other side tomorrow.

Yes they are 44's and the bumper is Kert's Gauntlet rear bumper. He just changed the brackets to make it fit the 3" body lift.

I'm using the B52's and the Dodge springs to push the axle 4-5" forward and it should lower it about the same. It sits too tall right now. Maybe now I can finally get that front driveshaft!

The plan for the rear is a set of Tahoe rear springs. I think they are 60" long with a centered pin. That should move the rear axle 3-4" back.

You're missing a lugnut!

common problem....... im missing 2 on my pass front and 1 on my drivers front... hah......

NICE TRUCK DUDE!!!!!!!!!!

so you want to lower it and move axle forward in front and back in the back...

how much sheet ya gonna cut to get those tires to not rub?

Well got them in but.....still the same height. Apparently b52's + 4" Dodge springs = 12" lift :dunno:

Looks like I've got an appointment with the sawsall on Saturday :hack:

Chris, where did you get the springs? Seem like alot of arch for 4".

Chris, where did you get the springs? Seem like alot of arch for 4".

They were junkyard picks. They still had the Tuff-Country Easy Ride stickers on them and according to the website they should have been 4". I know they will settle some once I can bounce them around, but I don't think they will drop as much as I want. Guess I'll pull a leaf or two later. Tho they are pretty soft already.

Edit:
I almost forgot I still need to re-install the front bumper and warn 8274. I'm sure that'll drop it a bit too.

From my experience, 4" rear spring in the front usually nets between 9 and 10" of lift. You winch and bumper should help ya a bit.

Looking at the two side shot before and after pics, looks like more rake in the body line. Tape measure doesn't seem to show that though. Must be an optic illusion.
