Looking to Sell a pair of 76-78 Eldorado Rear Calipers with arms and springs. These are remanufactured loaded calipers that I never used. I've got close the $300 bucks into them as they didn't come with arms and I had to buy those from a junkyard in Calif. The calipers are very clean, but the arms have some minor surface rust on them (looks more like dust).

I'll sell them for $200 bucks which includes shipping to anywhere in the States.

I want them. PM sent.

holy sheet, yes. PM me your paypal please.

The thread says to post here if you want them, to PM if you want to talk.

I replied to you in your PM to post in this thread that you wanted to buy them, you never posted that.

I then posted to your reply here ask you to say that you wanted to buy them. You never did that. Why?

Recon,

I'm going to honor Kota4bye bid as he did post first and was the first one to offer to buy them, I just wanted him to post that here. Sorry.

Funds sent, thanks.

I could have read better, sorry.

See the part about posting in the forums?

Do you want to buy them? That's the part that needs to be here. :D

That would be for the Itrader rating.
I believe all there needs to be is a response in this thread, PM sent is considered a response.
I too got a few sales that went thru PM only and couldn't get a rating for them.:o

I do ratings all the time for sales via PM... You don't have to post in the thread for the Itrader link to work.

Iceman, I appreciate you input.

But for me, when doing a sell in the forums I want the buyer to say "yes, I want to buy this item" in the thread. It's a protection factor for me. This way neither I nor the buyer/seller can say they did not commit to something after they have posted for everyone to see.

I never expect people to be dishonest, but if it came to question about what had taken place, it will be here for everyone to see.

The iTrade seems to show past history of a person doing business here but wont explain a PM gone bad.

It didn't work for me.
It kept saying invalid link, then I had the buyer answer in the thread and then I was able to link the thread and I got the Itrader rating.
