hey guys im back on the blazer build so ill get posting soon i haven't done much all summer no time but im getting back in to the truck i wanna get it done

76 k5 build thread
so i got a garage tent 2day so im finialy gonna be able to put some new parts on with out them getting ruined. i did some small stuff over the summer i got a grill from a junkyard 4 20 bucks that im gonna paint the body color i don't wanna paint the original grill because it was in mint shape. i got a hood hinge and the tailgate cover in primer. and im in the process of smoothing all of the plastic interior trim, the gauge pod, and the door panels. heres some random pics of that stuff.

i opened up a nice can of worms today
i went to go patch what seemed like a small hole in the bed floor. so i started making a small patch i got it cut to size. then i cut
up the piece i wanted to replace to find nothing supporting it underneath. so now i am gonna have to repair the structural stuff before i can close anything up heres a look at what i found.

im pretty sure i can make that piece out of sheet metal and a brake and while everything is all open im gonna go ahead and change the body bushings.

so i was trying to hook a job in a custom shop buy my house. the shop is called obnoxious customs. the guy is big in to chopping old pickup trucks and he does all kinds of crazy ****. and the best part is that saterday's he opens the shop up to the employees to pimp there own rides. hes got a cnc plasma cutter, an English wheel, tig and mig welders, a lift, a full wood shop, a shop press, and a lathe. the possibilities are endless.

i ditched working on the blazer 2 day and i did a cab corner on a 67 Chevy stepside pickup for this guy in a custom shop. if he decides he likes the job i did im gonna start working there in November and he lets the guys use the shop on saterdays for there own stuff. hes got plasma cutters, tig welders, a cnc plasma jet, a watter jet, an English wheel, and alot more im pretty sure i got the job in the bag.

started prepping the area 4 the garage tent. this thing is huge its 12 by 24 feet its a monster. i had to drop 3 trees that were in the way and in danger of falling on the tent or worse whats inside it. i can fit the truck and put the cap on the ground behind it if i wanted. im thinking of stashing a set of torches in there just in case of those rusty bolts. ill post pics soon. but ill be back to the truck as soon as the tent is done cutting welding and wrenching away at it.

i got the tent up and im gona be pushing the blazer in it 2marrow and setting up shop with a bench and stuff ill post pictures 2marrow. im gona get a small bending brake in there 2 continue making more patch pieces i gota make a patch piece for the tail pan piece ill get in to the when the time comes

no im doing more of a restoration im gonna use it as a daily driver so its getting carpet and a finished interior. but don't think im not gonna take it off the beaten path but ill build a serious wheeler one day

so i got some picks of the tent process first one is of the truck pushed to the back of the yard then you have the tree that we cut down. and of course whats a project without some fingers flying. then the actual tent well kind of thats the frame for the roof im gonna get more up 2marrow
