Gone 77 truck - GONE

After 15 yrs of being cooped up in a garage she's looking right at home and smilin'. :thumb:

Just as a small update to this. My buddy that actually picked this truck up, shortly after ended up buying my old project from another buddy. So he passed this project on to another buddy. And it is now driving around in California. I don't know all the details yet as he's a friend of a friend. But according to what I've seen on Facebook she's cruising around having a happy ol time.

That's awesome. Always wondered where this would end up. Sounds like it ended up in the perfect hands.

Yeah I was really worried. For a bit there was talks of parting it out with my truck to make a joint rig or a few other hair brained schemes including shipping it to me, but in the end, it was exactly what needed to happen. And the guy that has it is a hardcore square body guy that daily drives another one so its in great hands.

Great to hear!! Thanks for the update :thumb:
Wonder if we'll ever see the guy on here. And I hope he took care of the frame cracks at the steering box. :deal:

I doubt we will see him on here, but as the updates come across my Facebook I'll try to update it. I do know that it is driving around and he put up a video doing some mild off-roading on some property a few weeks back.

LINKS PLEASE !!!
Would love to see her alive again.

Doesn't look like that's working and I'm shit outta luck. but it does run. I know he got it running using a set of truck pull (straight up) headers. But those were just temporary to run.

I know shortly it's getting real headers and a full new exhaust.

Thanks for trying.
But if you can find a way to show me the video I'd really appreciate it. :thumb:

Small world? He went to the same high school as me.

Go nuts! Lol. He was behind me so I don't know him, but I assume if I was still in cal I would since hes a friend of a friend with multiple similar interests.

Hey guys I'm the new owner of the 77. Took a lot of work to get her where she is and still a little more to go. She runs and drives great now and its a blast. Just want you all to know she's in good hands. New radio sounds great to. Ill upload some vids of it driving when I get to a good internet connection

Post the video of the burnout you did in the Garage forum (the main forum) so everyone will see. And they may talk you into keeping the stacks too.
