'78 K10 Build

I mounted my spare yesterday. Now im trying to think of ways to mount it in the bed. One idea I had was to bolt 4 D hooks to the rear of the bed and run 2 straps in a X over the tire to hold it in place. Anyone have some better ideas?

Get a unit bearing from a ifs 3/4 ton when they fail and build a mount to hold in down in your truck. I am thinking I will use my 5th wheel ball some how.

That would work pretty good too. Kinda like a 3/4 hub with some sort of detachable mount so I can still use the bed when I need to without a giant tire taking up half the space.

I made my magnet sticker thing and got some CK5 stickers!!

I need some more cool ones for my rear window.

That's next on the list. Already have a rough idea of what we're doing on the rear, just need to figure out the front.

I made one that looks alot like the one Martin made for his blazer about two years ago...want to see it?

Not the best pic but you can get the idea.
I could take more tomorrow if you would want to see more.
If I was to do it again I would do it a bit different,like make a spot for a plate and run the shackle mounts through the bumper to the frame.

Looks good man. I want to have my receiver built into the bumper and it might be a little bigger. You can post some more pics if you want.

Lately i've noticed that the drivers side of this rig sits about an inch lower than the passengers side and it bugs me. I only have the drivers side gas tank in right now, but even when its damn near empty it leans. Is this pretty common with these trucks? Anything I can do to fix it?

Are you fat? My truck does that too. I need to lose weight.

:haha::haha::haha::haha::haha:

My truck is a little bit off on the drivers side without me in it as well. I'm not sure why though, so I'm not really a big help.

I do love the look of your truck though man, it looks good.
