I never would have anticipated any of those issues. HUMMWVs ride and handle so well. And the speed... I always figured it was the awesome wheels that gave it those capabilities.
As much beating as the body of my truck took this weekend, I will probably keep them because it's turning into a trail only rig faster than I'd have liked it to. I did make it up some pretty hard stuff for what it is though.
I wanted to trade a guy my drw hubs for his SRW hubs so I could run steelies and caps on the street. Then get some recentered H1s for the trail.

If you're wanting to still drive it on the street, this sounds like a good plan.

Don't be jealous.
Always hating on it. I have never wrecked any vehicle I have owned. Red was also hammering down when I was just cruising. I was actually a ways ahead of everyone for the last half way to Tuttle. Cruised 65-70 on the way back like nothing. I love this truck.
