Give me about a month to get my rig running and all the bugs worked out (as you know 78SWB, there are a lot of bugs to always work out with TBI swaps), and then you guys let me know and I will be game!! :D

I'd drive it more if I didn't have to jump start it everytime I want to drive it. Need to fix it but I'm being lazy. Also has real bad death wobble now cause something with the new pedal assy is causing the brakes to drag.

Stuck caliper pot. Take it out and hit with a Scotch Brite and then put it back in. That happened to me once. True story.

Hydro assist

I know most of your buds over in NE can help you with hydro assist, but if you have any questions or want some help putting parts together to do a diy setup, let me know. I have now done two setups (mine and my brothers) for less than $300 each and it is silky smooth

Will keep that in mind, thanks!

Took the alternator to get tested and it failed. Got a new one and the charger is on the battery so we will see.

Well I've driven this thing to work all week cause the Duramax is at the body shop. It has been COLD this week, like -temps with windchill and it has started up every morning so I'm thinking the alternator was the problem. We'll see for sure when it sits for a few days, but wow do I love fuel injection. :D

One thing I've realized is that this thing sucks to daily drive lol. I can't wait to have my Dmax back. I really need to figure out the front end of this thing and it wouldn't be so bad. Something is causing the brakes to drag and it has a contstant squeak at anything under 30mph. Also doesn't roll back much at a stoplight with a hill. After I get the front end figured out, it won't be so bad driving it around town.

Only ran out of gas once so far with the fuel gauge not grounded yet lol. Still have to pull it back down and rewire it, but its way too cold for that **** right now.

I know. I was lazy and burnt out from working on it, so I let it sit for a few months until I found some motivation on a warmish day.

I feel ya on that one. Sometimes you just need a break. Looks good though dude :waytogo:

Will the Spring Hanger GM 6270211 work for both the front and rear spring hangers? I'm doing a 6" lift and wanted to replace mine because they're pretty rusted out. Also they are the same part number for right and left side, correct?
