It has been sitting for about a week and a half and won't start. Not really sure how long it takes to die. Everything works normal when the battery is charged.

Slow drain then. I wonder if you could take out all the fuses except for the one for the ECM (if that's possible) to try isolate it. I doubt that's it though because it only has power when the switch is on. Same thing with the electric fuel pump. It must be something that always has 12 volts. I also once had a bad horn that would drain the battery. And no you couldn't hear it honking while it was draining it either.

Check out any relays you added. Those can cause the battery to drain too.

Finally got my vintage plates on. Was $50 cheaper than licensing it normal and I never have to re-new the stickers again. Win win. Thank you, Stein.

disconnect a battery cable and put an amp meter in line right after you shut off the truck, it should show a small amperage that is draining your battery. Pull one fuse out at a time in an orderly manner and whatever fuse drops the draw to zero or close to it, is your problem circuit. :thumb:

If you use a regular multimeter, be sure to swap the positive lead to the ammeter port and turn the meter to amps. If you try to hook the voltmeter up as described, you'll just get 0. Oh and don't try to read voltage across the battery with the meter set up to measure amps. You'll see a big arc and the ends of your leads will be melted. You probably already know this, but someone reading this thread may not be aware.

Yes actually. Just got back from Tuttle creek ORV. Ill post up some pictures tomorrow.

What's the details on that beauty?
