Just got it.
I just got the snap ring off!!!
congrats, they can sometimes be a pain, especially if they are covered in alot of grease. I like to use a smalle flat screw driver to get under it then turn it 90* then a pick to pull it out.
Thanks. I used a Q-tip to get the muck out. I think I had some erroneous terms in my original post (which I tried to delete so I wouldn't waste anyone's time). Then I used a small flat screwdriver to keep the ring from spinning, and pried it out with the pick at the ring opening. I couldn't believe that it finally came out. We started this project last night!
Let's see how much more fun I can have with this!
Why are you having to tear into it? Carnage?
New rotors (warped) and bearings (just because I'm in there). Just bought it in February, and it needs a good going through. Your thoughts?
